Just take the fun car.

I used to drive a car with 0 heat and 0 insulation to even stand a chance of getting warm simply because the car was fun, and I loved it.

Sounds to me like it could be warm and sunny on the way home, and you might need the stress relief after dealing with the employee issue.

What qualifies as chilly in c entral CA? Afternoons in southeastern PA have been in the low 4os during the past few days and I’ve been driving home with the top down, and this from someone who grew up with high-80s winter weather.

“I want to take it, but it is chilly” actually has pretty good scansion, and the “it” ambiguity works in its favor. That could be reworked into lyrics or verse really easily.

In fact:

I want to take it, but it is chilly

My Toyota, it waits for sun.

The chase is cancelled, inside is dreary

How can I judge performance?

The last sentence is one of them double intendy things about driving fast and also your employees.
